Yabazaar is a cutting edge business to customer e-commerce company marketing: travel tours in the Middle East and North Africa, and regional , traditional arts and handicrafts.

Yabazaar grew out of extensive research begun in 1998: research in the traditional crafts of the Middle East and North Africa as well as research in electronic commerce. Today, Yabazaar claims its place in the global e-commerce arena.

Yabazaar aspires to preserve and present the rich heritage that exists in the region. The web attempts to do so by:

  • Encouraging the continuation of the production of the traditional handicrafts by creating a market for the artisans so that their art will survive and craftsmen and new generations of artisans will flourish.

  • Presenting a comprehensive look at Middle Eastern and North African history, archeology and culture.

  • Seeking input from archeologists and historians worldwide to add to our pages.

Yabazaar celebrates traditional art while promoting understanding of the region where civilization was born.

To do so and insure customer confidence and satisfaction, Yabazaar has linked with the leading companies in the world: AITG, World pay and D.H.L.

Cyber trade and development limited, based in Jersey, UK, holds Yabazaar. Cyber trade owns the name, the brand and holds the legal right of the web as well as the Lebanon based companies: Yabazaar Off-shore SAL and E Trade and Commerce SAL. Yabazaar takes charge of the financial management, and E Trade and Commerce specializes in consultancy and E Trade.

These entities are the creation of three entrepreneurs:

  •  A scientist and inventor, who sought an understanding of e-commerce.

  •  A venture capitalist, who was captivated by the project.

  •  A financial manager “ hooked” on the internet.

The Yabazaar team has twelve members among whom are three editors and two team members specializing in research and electronic development.
