Fine soap, made from natural ingredients, has been produced in Aleppo for years. The soap, rich in olive oil, is excellent for maintaining both skin and hair. The Hammams (steam baths) in the region gave rise to the production of many products, among which were soap and the fine towels demanded by those who enjoyed the baths. Aleppo, a city famous for its soap, produces tons of soap each day.
