Aghabani

Full embroidered Talss

It is rumored that the Aghabani table cloth was the idea of some gentile Damascene ladies, who requested that the beautiful embroidered fabrics be made for their use as table coverings. The existence of this story romanticizes the origin of these fine table coverings which were introduced at the end of the 19th century.
